Stromer are the ultimate name in Electric Bikes. Performance, Swiss build quality and the latest technology combined into one show stopping bike.
Stromer
Few names in the electric bike world command more respect, admiration and utter desirability than Stromer. Hand built in Switzerland, Stromer's range of bikes constantly push the engineering to the maximum.
Founded in 2009 by Thomas Binggeli, it opened the doors to its 4,400m2 Oberwangen (near Bern) headquarters in 2013. A focus on in-house innovation, design and manufacture sets Stromer apart from other brands - everything is under a single roof.
That roof is covered in Solar panels, with all of the facilities power (and the bikes that leave it) coming from the Swiss Sunshine. The strong demand for the Stromer brand has led to an intense desire from loyal customers both in Europe and the United States, with excited reviewers eager to ride the latest they have to offer. Stromer is the bike to have.
With taglines of "The Swiss Driving Experience" and "Because the Swiss don't build cars", Stromer position their electric bikes as an alternative to the car. And with good reason - in Germany 82% of 30 million commuters (24.6m) travel less than 15 miles to work, with 12m of them doing less than 6 miles. These distances are effortlessly achieved on a Speed Pedelec or electric bike, and Stromer aims to reduce the levels of pollution and congestion on Europe's roads, while also freeing up parking spaces.
The ST5 is the latest in head turning developments to come out of the Oberwangen campus workshops, and Stromer show no sign of stopping soon.
