Book Technical Support or ServiceServicing - Electric Mopeds and Motorcycles
Electric motorcycles and mopeds are more reliable and require less maintenance than a petrol equivalent thanks to the reduced amount of moving parts.
The main components that will need repair are brake pads, discs and tyres. This work an be carried out by most local garages or repair shops.
Work carried out by established, reputable businesses will not invalidate the warranty.
We expect more and more garages to become qualified with expertise in NIU and Super Soco parts within the next 6 months as awareness grows.
The NIU app will locate the nearest dealers to you automatically.
Warranty
If something does go wrong with your vehicle which cannot be rectified by a local workshop, please get in touch with us.
We are able to collect the vehicle from you and attempt to fix on site, and if not will bring back to our workshop.
While we endeavour to keep costs as low as possible, delivery & collection and service charges may apply.
If you would like to arrange collection, please book.
MOT
All newly registered vehicles are supplied with a 3 year MOT. Speed pedelecs, electric mopeds and motorcycles will not need an MOT for the first 3 years.
After this, we are able to collect and service them, or we can direct you to local specialist centres. Again, the reduction in moving parts (much like electric cars) means there will be far less than a standard petrol equivalent to check.
Electric Bicycles (15.5mph EAPCs) do not require an MOT.
