QWIC MA8 Premium

The QWIC MA8 is a light, stylish and easy to ride bike ideal for commuting. Puncture proof tyres, soft saddle and easy visibility screen combines into one comprehensive and attractive urban ebike.

Mid  Motor

A powerful Brose Mid Motor gives a huge 90Nm of torque, helping you easily conquer hills and inclines. The belt is constructed from Carbon Fiber and Urethan materials, making it extremely durable and near-silent in its operation.

The combination of mid-motor and belt drive makes the bike weather resistant and near maintenance free.

Head Up Display

A large easy read display gives quick key information while on the move such as Battery level, speed and distance travelled.

The motor power levels can be controlled using the easy access buttons located on the handlebar.

Magura Hydraulic disc brakes front and rear give impressive stopping power and control in all weather conditions, and require minimal maintenance.

White Wall Schwalbe tyres are both stylish but practical, too. Puncture resistant,  they are constructed from recycled materials.

Air Suspension Front Fork

For maximum riding comfort, the MA8 is fitted with an air suspension front fork that will absorb all of those bumps and lumps in the road.

Soft Grip Handles

Luxurious soft grip handles and seat make add to the riding pleasure and reinforce that this is a premium electric bike. Not only does it look great, but it feels great too.

Integrated Light

The integrated front headlight runs off the battery, giving both excellent visibility but also convenience. No more hunting around for replacement batteries as the light slowly dims.

Full brightness, all year round without the hassle.

Removable Battery

The battery can be removed to charge in office or at home. With protection against complete discharge and a secure anti-theft key, the battery has been designed to be easy to use and fully integrated with the bike.

About QWIC

QWIC are a leading Dutch electric bike company who have strong presence in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Driven by a desire to take more cars off the road and replace them with high quality electric bikes, their focus is on sustainability, design and craftmanship.

Their research showed that 50% of all car journeys undertaken are below 5 miles - the perfect distance for an ebike to undertake. With traffic often slow moving in city centers, bikes are not only greener but also quicker than the car.

QWIC's philosophy is that electric bikes should not only be well made, sustainable and innovative, but also fun.

The QWIC Mobile app lets you see distance travelled, bike settings, estimated range, navigation and battery charge rates. This is a supplementary app to the HUD fitted onto many bikes.

Please note that at time of writing the App can only be used with the following bike models:

Help & Advice

There are usually two key types of frame. However, certain brands have slightly different names for them so keep your eye out!

Step Over vs Step Through

Sport - (Step Over)

Sport models will usually have a high tube at the top, in front of the seat. This will usually require you to lean the bike slightly to mount your leg “over” the bike. Sometimes bikes will also be called Diamond, or Gents bikes.

Comfort - (Step Through)

Comfort were traditionally known as “Ladies” bicycles, and in some cases this naming convention has carried through. However, all it tends to signify is a lower top tube. By far the majority of electric bikes are step through because they're so easy to get on and off.
