QWIC Compact Folding Electric Bike

The FN7.2 Folding electric bike is one of the best on the market. Lightweight, easy to use and practical, it's a joy to ride whether you're exploring canal towpaths or weaving through the inner city traffic.

Award Winning

The QWIC Compact won "Best Buy" in the Dutch review site BesteProduct, as well as the Elektrischefietstest 2017 "Overall winner" award.

This was thanks to its fantastic ride comfort and experience, beating other folding bikes that lacked the same fun and stable riding experience.

Clear Digital Display

QWIC provide fantastic, digital displays which are easy to read and contain all the vital information at a glance even in bright sunlight.

You can choose between 8 power assistance levels and switch easily between using the large buttons. Speed, range left and battery level is all easily visible.

Leather seat and handle add a level of luxury rarely seen on other folding bikes.

There is also a USB point on the display for powering a bicycle navigation system or your phone.

Powerful Compact Motor

The QWIC is one of the most powerful folding electric bike on the market. With a 250W front wheel hub motor that produces a huge 35Nm of Torque, this little bike punches above its weight.

If you wish you can also put the bike into Freewheel mode, removing the motor assistance entirely and letting it handle like a true traditional bike.

Integrated Light

A Axa Echo 30 Lux light is built into the bike, and draws power directly from the battery which ensures maximum brightness at all times. You don't have to change a fiddly light battery again!

Front Suspension Fork

Added comfort is provided through the front suspension which will help absorb knocks and bumps on your journey.

Removable Battery

The rear Luggage rack battery is available in 375 or 500Wh models, both of which are easily removed for charging in the office, cafe or pub!

A One-Key ART approved security system prevents theft, and on board charging technology helps maintain the battery for a long life.

The battery has USB point on it that you can charge your phone on the go, and an inbuilt rear brake light ensures visibility to other road users.

Help & Advice

There are usually two key types of frame. However, certain brands have slightly different names for them so keep your eye out!

Step Over vs Step Through

Sport - (Step Over)

Sport models will usually have a high tube at the top, in front of the seat. This will usually require you to lean the bike slightly to mount your leg “over” the bike. Sometimes bikes will also be called Diamond, or Gents bikes.

Comfort - (Step Through)

Comfort were traditionally known as “Ladies” bicycles, and in some cases this naming convention has carried through. However, all it tends to signify is a lower top tube. By far the majority of electric bikes are step through because they're so easy to get on and off.
